Medical Emergency

ACTION REQUIRED BY STAFF TENDING TO Person

If there is an incident of a fall that affects the back, head or neck, or there are broken limbs:

1. DO NOT MOVE PERSON.

2. CALL 911 for immediate transport to the hospital.

3. If it is a student, ensure that a responsible adult accompanies the student to the hospital and remains with the student until the parent/guardian arrives.
4. Notify the parent/guardian or staff emergency contact of the medical emergency. State the name of the hospital they have been taken to for medical care.
5. Notify the Health and Safety Department:
