Field Trip Incident/Accident
ACTION REQUIRED BY TEACHER OR STAFF MEMBER
CALL 911 IF REQUIRED.
- Give first aid if necessary.
- Ensure appropriate emergency personnel is contacted (e.g., police, ambulance).
- Contact school Administrator/Designate.
- Provide relevant medical information to emergency personnel.
- Ensure that all students/supervisors are accounted for using list of participants.
- Maintain communication with the Administrator/Designate and keep him/her informed of all developments.
