Field Trip Incident/Accident

ACTION REQUIRED BY TEACHER OR STAFF MEMBER

  1. CALL 911 IF REQUIRED.

  2. Give first aid if necessary.
  3. Ensure appropriate emergency personnel is contacted (e.g., police, ambulance).
  4. Contact school Administrator/Designate.
  5. Provide relevant medical information to emergency personnel.
  6. Ensure that all students/supervisors are accounted for using list of participants.
  7. Maintain communication with the Administrator/Designate and keep him/her informed of all developments.
