ACTION REQUIRED BY Administrator / DESIGNATE

  1. CALL 911.

  2. EVACUATE the school - do not re-enter building.
  3. MOVE to a safe area outside.
  4. Ensure students maintain calm, orderly behaviour.

  5. Notify Emergency Response Team.

  6. Administer First Aid if necessary.
  7. Ensure attendance is taken.
  8. Direct further action as required.
  9. Remain at a safe location until emergency personnel or Emergency Response Team declare it is safe to return to the school.
  10. Working with emergency personnel, consider relocating all people to alternate evacuation site.
